This is the month of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It also includes the feast day of St Bernard of Clairvaux, so I’m hoping to sing Jesu Dulcis.

The feast of the Assumption on Saturday 15 August is a Holy Day of Obligation. We don’t have a local Latin Mass that day, so you might like to plan ahead to go to Prospect 8am or 9.30am.

Month of the Precious Blood. Also, winter and the meeting room is still under construction.

As I’m writing this, there are plans to have weekly choir practice. Would people be able to come to Lawson for a choir practice in the church from 2pm?

UPDATE: Really cool little 3 part motet Jesu, Salvator Mundi by Menegali and paired with psalm toned verses by Catuí Côrte-Real Suarez on CPDL.org. Maybe we see if we can squeeze it in every Sunday in July in honour of the Precious Blood?

ASH WEDNESDAY! 19 February

Each year we have an Ash Wednesday Mass and each year it’s co-ordinated at the last minute because I forget to list it here on Repleatur, but Now I Have Remembered To Add It In!

Ashes come pre-blessed - they’re distributed after Mass - we can sing Parce Domine or something like that. The final hymn comes after. Might like to have a copy of Parce with lots of verses ready.
